Goldenstate College, Inc.

On November 19-20, 2011, eight (8) members of the Goldenstate College Department of Hotel and Restaurant Management successfully took and passed the Comprehensive Examinations for Master of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management (MSHRM). They were Ms. Jocelyn Abellanosa, Mr. John Almazan, Mr. Virgil Allan Casquejo, Ms. Julienne Marie Manilay, Mr. Hanzel dela Pena, Mr. Leonito Mordeno, Mr. Christian Turqueza, and Mr. Marc Patrick Valerio.

The said exam, held at the HRM Function Hall, 4th Floor, New Building, Goldenstate College,  was facilitated by Ms. Lutgarda C. Robles, Assistant Registrar, Philippine Women’s University (PWU)-Manila. It covered subjects such as Advance Hospitality Perspective, Food Service Management, Advance Menu Management, and Event Management.

The MSHRM program offered in Goldenstate College, with the utmost support of CEO Dr. Warren Manilay and Mrs. Sara Jane Manilay, is in collaboration with the Philippine Women’s University in Manila under Dr. Milagros Magsanoc, Dean, HRM Graduate School. Soon, another batch of faculty members and staff of this Institution will start with their Master in Business Administration (MBA) program also in collaboration with PWU-Manila.

Meanwhile, the successful examinees will start their thesis writing in January 2012 with the hope of completing their master’s degree.
