The Goldenstate College Delegates composed of Mr. Warren A. Manilay, MNSA, Chief Executive Officer, Josie Yap-Tirador,MBA , College President, Mr. Leonito “Cris” Mordeno, Acting Academic Head –HRM, Ms. Jocelyn Abellanosa, HRM Faculty and students Jayson Millena, Menchu Samson, Hayde Solis and Rogielo Laguna, participated in the Philippine Education Fair organized by the Philippine Consulate in Vietnam on October 17-21, 2009.
The Fair was held at the Sheraton Hotel Ho Chi Minh City, did not only provide the delegates the experience but a chance to market the College and its course offerings to Vietnamese Students and Professors alike. Being the only institution that represented Mindanao, Goldenstate College is indeed very proud to have participated in the fair as it opened up cooperation and partnership programs with different universities in Vietnam.
As of this writing cooperation program is being planned by different Universities especially those whom the delegates have visited and where programs discussed such as the University of Economics, Hon Bang University International, Vietnam University of Technology, University of Medicine and Pharmacy, the Vietnam National University and Ton Duc Thang University all in Ho Chi Minh City.
After finalization of cooperation between universities, Goldenstate College will not only accommodate the locals as students but as well as international students. Indeed, this is another milestone for the College whose vision is to provide quality education acceptable globally.
